Join the IPA team and two Associate Artists, to create, play, and explore as a family in an open and friendly shared space.

At Climb Quest, we passionately share an ethos around inclusion for all, running specific Autism friendly and SEND sessions. We support groups and individuals to challenge themselves and promote healthy lifestyle activities. We try and support as many people as possible to try climbing through our regular events, work with charities and groups, and through 1:1 activities.

These screenings have sensory friendly adjustments which aim to reduce over-stimulation and create a relaxed and welcoming environment. Tickets are limited to reduce the number of people in the cinema and visitors are free to move around the space as needed. No trailers are shown and the hand dryers in the Sky Room toilets are switched off. Sensory Scout Kits, inclusive of ear defenders, will be available upon arrival.
When: Every Sunday, under 8's and under 12's 3:30pm - 4:30pm

For parents and carers of children and young people with a special educational needs or disability. This workshop is for families living in Milton Keynes.
Parent and carer programme with Specialist Teachers and Educational Psychologists
These sessions will be delivered via Microsoft Teams, an invite will be sent to your email address. You do not have to attend all of the workshops – once the invites are sent out just choose which sessions you would like to attend.

Course summary:
The SEND code of Practice (2014) refers to an outcome as follows;
“An outcome can be defined as the benefit or difference made to an individual as a result of an intervention.” (Section 9.66)
Outcomes are the opportunity for everyone involved in the child’s support to plan realistic steps that are needed to enable the child or young person to achieve longer term goals and aspirations.

Course summary:
Sensory differences can have a significant impact on children with SEND needs, including ASC, ADHD, and developmental co-ordination difficulties. This can affect their ability to communicate, play and interact along with behaviour changes especially when overwhelmed.
