We work with schools and early years settings in Milton Keynes to support high quality inclusion for all children.  

The team provides:

• advice, guidance, support and challenge to settings and schools about Ordinarily Available Provision
• ensuring that high quality SEND support plans are produced and implemented
• training sessions for schools
• directly supporting children and young people with SEND in specific circumstances
• coordinating and overseeing provision for children who cannot attend school because of health needs (Section-19 provision)

In consultation with the setting or school to achieve the agreed outcome for a child or young person or group of children and young people with SEND, the type of support offered by the Inclusion Specialist Teaching Team could include:

• One off consultation
• Consultation with review
• Observation/s
• One off or a package of modelled strategies and interventions
• Specific direct work with the CYP or family to support engagement and access to education, working alongside the setting/school
